Everett Kennedy

Broker

Everett Kennedy, is the Broker-Owner of Berkshire Hathaway Kennedy Realty and a key figure at Kennedy Properties and Management in Statesboro, Georgia. With over four decades of experience in residential and commercial real estate sales, property management, leasing, and development, Everett is a leader in the industry and an advocate for the region’s growth and success. His extensive market knowledge and dedication to exceptional client service have earned him a reputation as the trusted expert in the field.

A lifelong resident of Bulloch County, Everett graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1987 with a BBA in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate. He has been recognized as Realtor of the Year three times by the Statesboro Board of Realtors, where he also served multiple terms as President and Director. Everett’s leadership extends to two terms on the Board of Governors for the Georgia Association of Realtors and includes serving as Chair of the RIAC Committee for GAR.

Everett is deeply committed to community service and philanthropy. He actively supports numerous charitable organizations, including CURE Childhood Cancer, The Huntsman Foundation, Feed the Boro, Hearts and Hands Clinic, and Safe Haven. Additionally, he has served on various boards, such as the Statesboro Bulloch Chamber of Commerce, the Bulloch First Bank Advisory Board, and Bulloch Academy. A Rotary Paul Harris Fellow and Charter Member of the Rotary Club of Downtown Statesboro, Everett is also an active member of the Statesboro Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter. In 2005, he was honored as part of the Business Report & Journal’s “40 Under 40” class.

In 2020, Governor Brian Kemp appointed Everett to represent the Twelfth Congressional District on the Board of Regents for the University System of Georgia. This role reflects his passion for education, economic development, and his alma mater, Georgia Southern University.

Everett and his wife, Staci, are active members of Statesboro Worship Church and proud parents of three children: Greyson, Harrison, and Alexandra. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, diving and family time.

Lisa V. Hendley

Property Manager

Lisa V. Hendley brings over 30 years of diverse experience to her role as Property Manager at Kennedy Properties and Management. A graduate of Georgia Southern University with a BBA in Marketing, Lisa began her career in office administration and accounting, managing financial operations for a retail chain with 12 locations across the Southeast. Her strong administrative background laid the foundation for her transition into real estate, where she has excelled in both sales and property management.

In 2008, Lisa became a licensed real estate salesperson, and in 2012, she earned her Associate Broker’s license. She has been a dedicated part of Berkshire Hathaway Kennedy Realty, where she has honed her skills in residential sales, property management, and office administration. Lisa’s extensive knowledge of real estate operations, combined with her management expertise, makes her a key asset to Kennedy Properties and Management as she continues to provide exceptional service to both property owners and tenants in the Statesboro and Bulloch County area.

Her attention to detail, commitment to customer satisfaction, and years of experience in both real estate and business administration are sure to contribute to the continued success and growth of Kennedy Properties and Management.

Greyson Kennedy

Leasing Agent

Greyson E. Kennedy is a native of Statesboro, Georgia, and an honor graduate of Bulloch Academy. He is currently a senior at Georgia Southern University pursuing a degree in Construction Management, which equips him with a strong foundation in property development and maintenance.

Greyson is in the process of earning his real estate salesperson license and will bring his skills and dedication to Kennedy Properties and Management as a leasing agent. He will also assist with leasing maintenance, ensuring excellent service for tenants and property owners alike.

An active member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and Statesboro Worship Church, Greyson is deeply involved in his community and values building meaningful connections. His blend of local knowledge, education, and work ethic makes him a valuable asset to the Kennedy Properties and Management team.

Poppy Brown

Leasing Agent

Born and raised in Garden City, GA, and now a proud resident of Pooler, GA, since 2008, Poppy has deep roots throughout the area and a thorough understanding of the local real estate market. She and her husband are blessed with three wonderful adult children: their oldest daughter is a Pediatric Nurse at Children’s of Alabama Hospital, their middle daughter is a senior in college, and son proudly serves in the United States Air Force.

Poppy has been a real estate professional for over 17 years, beginning as a Realtor assistant and earning her license in 2008. Over the years, she has gained invaluable knowledge and experience from navigating the ever-changing market, coupled with a lifelong connection to the area. This blend of expertise and local insight allows Poppy to guide clients through the real estate process with confidence and ease, no matter the challenges.

For Poppy, real estate is more than buying or selling a house—it’s about building relationships that last far beyond the closing table. She takes pride in her professionalism and her ability to truly understand her client’s needs and priorities. Whether helping buyers find the perfect home that fits their lifestyle or assisting sellers to showcase their property’s unique qualities to attract the ideal buyer, her approach is always personalized and strategic.

Poppy enjoys giving back to the community, and she is always looking for community activities to join. She is a member of the Statesboro Board of Realtors, Savannah Board of Realtors, Savannah Home Builders Association, and the secretary for the Effingham Business Referral Team. She is also certified as a Military Relocation Professional (MRP) and Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS).
